My name is Makenna Lee, and I am a self taught artist based in the Detroit area who wants nothing more than to inspire others. In making Makenna Lee Original Art I hope to expand the knowledge of my art and hopefully touch other hearts with my creations. The Crumbling City
April 1st 2016
The crumbling city is one of my personal favorites. I was commissioned to create this painting using only black and white as my colors. To create some diversity, I used both acrylic and watercolor paints. This was a major turning point in my artist career because it was the largest painting I have ever done up to that point. This 50" masterpiece is currently located in a loft in Chicago.

Detroit Historic Show
May 4th 2018
This show was called, "Out for Art" and was held at the Detroit Historical Museum. It was a wonderful night; I got to interact with costumers, and sell products of mine. This was the first show I got to sell my merchandise and I look forward to be apart of many shows like this one. Look for updates for my upcoming shows on my Facebook page.
STREETS OF ITALY
July 9th 2018
The "Streets Of Italy" painting was a commission piece I was hired to do. It is an acrylic painting that was 16"x20" large. I'm often hired to do paintings from photos and I find much joy in doing so for customers.

Downtown Plymouth Art Show
September 2015
The Downtown Plymouth art show that I held at the Coffee Bean was the first show I ever had by myself. The pictures show are only a few that were in the show. In total I had 19 pieces throughout the coffee shop. This experience helped me show off my local talent which allowed me to be recognized around my town. The show started in September and didn't end till around March of 2016.
